The Occasional Cook

This is the cookbook I designed for my Communication Design Fundamentals class. The course introduces new designers to the visual and verbal language of communication design. We learned about color, typography, grid, and more.

At the beginning of the semester, each student selected one appetizer recipe to design. At mid-semester, we used our newly-acquired skills to redesign the recipe. As a final project, we collected 10 recipes from our peers and combined them into a cohesive cookbook which was printed and bound. Two of these recipes are included below.
